Seven "I am" statements of Jesus that reassure us!

There are seven (7) I AM statements of Jesus that offer us reassurance that our Lord loves, cares for us and will always be at our side, no matter the challenges that will present along life’s journey.

Jesus said,

1) “𝐈 𝐀𝐌 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞” (6:35)-we will never be thirsty or hungry.

2) “𝐈 𝐀𝐌 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝” (8:12, 9:5)- we will never walk in darkness.

3) “𝐈 𝐀𝐌 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐭𝐞” (10:7)-once we enter into a relationship with Jesus, we will be saved.

4) “𝐈 𝐀𝐌 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐝” (10:11, 14)

Jesus sacrificed His life for us and knows us individually.

5) “𝐈 𝐀𝐌 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞” (11:25)- we must believe in Jesus as the Lord and Saviour of our lives.

6) “𝐈 𝐀𝐌 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐚𝐲, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞” (14:6)-Jesus is reminding us that He will direct our path.

7) “𝐈 𝐀𝐌 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐧𝐞”(15:1,5)- Let us remain connected to Jesus. He breaks off every branch in us that does not bear fruit and prunes the ones that bear fruit so that we will continue to bear much fruit.

We cannot bear fruit unless we remain connected to Jesus.

Jesus didn’t say “I will be.”

𝐇𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐝 “𝐈 𝐀𝐌.”
